One of the the favorite Program things that we do is a program called "Journeys". We have 3 members talk and show/tell their stories about their quilt journey. It is really fun to see their progress as a quilter. It doesn't cost anything and we all love it. We do bring in local and national quilters also, but since I am in MA no one that I mention would be local to you. In April '08 we did have Pat Sloan.

In January and February, we don't like top pay for a speaker as the weather is too iffy. We either get together to make quilts for a charity project or do some type of mini-workshops. We might have someone teaching redwork, applique, how to make prairie points, bias binding, etc. We split everyone up into 5 -6 groups and then rotate the groups every 10 - 15 minutes. It's a lot of fun. Hope that this helps.Roseliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01268522218816264360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4481807513991858566.post-38358603678172738602009-05-19T12:58:00.000-05:002009-05-19T12:58:00.000-05:00Nancy - Could you send me your email address priva...Nancy - Could you send me your email address privately?
NellieNellienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4481807513991858566.post-25441625166794658422009-05-19T11:57:00.000-05:002009-05-19T11:57:00.000-05:00You should find out if Pat Sloan will ever be in y...You should find out if Pat Sloan will ever be in your neck of the woods!!!
You should add Tea on Tues to your Tues Talk- drop by and visit us!!!ooglebloopshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14222611602787757388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4481807513991858566.post-69731652260405112282009-05-19T10:07:00.000-05:002009-05-19T10:07:00.000-05:00Wow you have a big responsibility. They really seem to be needing and asking for more quilts. Also there may be nearby that could speak on restoring old/antique quilts and how to care for them. Maybe even do quilt appraisals. Hope that helps a little ;-)

Jocelyn
http://happycottagequilter.blogspot.com/Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714577523744715551noreply@blogger.com
