raise your hand.....

if you are tired of the snow.... We got another 3 or 4 inches last night. I am so over it. Today I am supposed to be at my monthly quilt guild meeting. I was gonna be the president today...with the gavel and everything...and then a great program learning how to make a clutch bag....with Alice...and lunch...that someone else was gonna cook...

excuse me while i whine...

Right now though I am in the living room, watching my DH stew. oh...he is supposed to be on his way to Indiana...yea...he started the truck...and then locked it..woops. the extra key is in the console..in the truck. uh oh...we are now waiting for the locksmith.. I really want to laugh, but that wouldn't help would it?
and why? is the extra key in the truck? cause he asked the Rock Star to start the car and use the extra key...then he got in the truck and instead of bringing the extra key in the house (like he should have)...he stuck it in the console. After paying who knows what god awful price to get the truck opened up he probably won't do that again... Good News? All the snow has melted off the truck...LOL

I have veggie soup brewing on the stove and I guess I will spend the day in the sewing room. Maybe I will have some more civil war blocks to show tomorrow....

And Miss Nancy is going to have a post on paper piecing this week.. If you ever wanted to try it or just would like some new hints check out her blog this week. I will try and link over there when she gets it posted. Miss Nancy is precise...she pins...everything... Me? I don't pin...anything.. so you need to check out her post. Cause you might see some pins.. you never know.. and she is also snowed in so she doesn't have anything else to do but sew...Right?

Nancy

Can you see ME jumping around with both hands in the air to let you know I want NO more snow this year and none for the next several years, actually. There is "something" coming tonight here again......might be just rain, but I'm not sure if that would be better or worse as the temps will be pretty cold and we could have a thick sheet of ice on which to drive. Oh...and sorry to say that I am laughing at the extra key being left in the truck console, too. Gotta love when our men do dopey things, right? Sorry you were unable to get out and be Madam President today. :(

Oh dear.....locked keys in car.....not fun....when the males of our species make that mistake it's all the more giggles in a silent way, so they don't realize you're grinning behind your hand. My husband did that not once but twice before I retired. He had to call me because I had the spare key which he insisted I keep....Let's just say leaving school is not easy during the day and I was not amused at his story of how it all happened.
I hope your day of sewing goes well.
Take care.

My kids are sad because we missed all the snow.

What do you expect from boys!

Hi Nancy,

I hope the weather warms up for you soon. I remember years ago excitedly telling my Nana that it had snowed (a rare event here)...she was not as excited as she had been snowed in a number of times.
SO I guess a little is good is not, too much is.
Hugs,
Sharon
