so....now what?

Apparently no one has any Sherbet Pips in their stash...hhmmpp... not sure what you all are buying out there...this line was so adorable.. everyone should have a charm pack or two in their stash..

So now what?

This is the Sherbet Pips line.  Aneela Hoey designed her first line using her hand embroidery designs as inspiration.  The colors are beautiful...pale gray, pale pink, bright red and turquoise...with little girls playing on a swing hung from a tree and little ones on scooters..

Then her second line came out.. Little Apples..  This time the kids are playing ring-a-round and jumping rope.. So cute..

It's the same colorway although the colors in Little Apples are more intense..

Do you think I can use both?  together?

And I got block two done on my BOM.

Oct block Log Cabin

Is he not the cutest little scooter boy?  The center was supposed to be a quarter square triangle but that's just crazy so I fussy cut the little 2 1/2 inch square...  He fit perfectly..

and here is Sept and Oct together..
I hate Wednesdays...Rich watches the syfy channel all night..can't miss Ghost Hunters..and tonight will be extra special as he will flip back and forth between syfy and the GOP debate...fun times..

I guess I will make a few more blocks tonight...

I have a quilt top made from Little Apples. Great line. I think you could use the two lines together. They seem to go well together.

Love the blocks.
You have to fussy cut those cute fabrics!

I found the charm packs on Ebay. Here's a link for you. Hope this helps.

Sorry, Nancy. I missed out on this line first time around.

I think you could probably use the two lines together. Maybe the eBay connection will pan out, too.

Either way, love the blocks. Hope your Wednesday night is at least productive! :)

Have you tried a search on quiltshops.com? There is a search box to put in the exact fabric you are looking for and links will pop up to the particular fabric and the shop if anyone in this search base has it. I have found several fabrics this way.

If you can't find the ones you want, I would for sure use the two lines together.

I think you can use the two lines together as long as you intermingle them well. I'm betting everyone has used their Pips. I just pieced together a layer cake for a backing. They're so cute!!

I seem to be 3 or 4 steps behind everyone else and miss out on the great fabrics. I think the two lines will work great together.

Absolutely you can use the two lines together! Being able to do that has saved me from fabric emergencies many times.

I bought those Sherbert pips also. Haven't decided what I will make with them. I do love them though.

quiltshops site is best for it. There is a search box to put in the exact fabric you are looking for and links will pop up to the particular fabric and the shop if anyone in this search base has it. I have found several fabrics this way.

Don't know if you are still looking for charm packs of this, but I was just in my local quilt shop here in CA and they have several charm packs. They are kind of pricey ($9.25), but if you are wanting some, I could pick them up for you.
