I think it's cute. Are you making an entire dotty quilt? Is it for anyone in particular??? I mean...if it's a gift for a little old lady who wants a quilt to drape over her Victorian furniture, it might be a tad too bright, but otherwise, I think it's fine!!! LOL
For me it's too much but then I really struggle with lots of colour together. I'm making a Kaffe Fassett quilt for my Mum from a kit and I know he knows what he's doing but sometimes I think "Kaffe, do you really want to put those two next to each other? I wouldn't even put them in the same quilt, room, house..." so what do I know.
Not too bright, but too many dots for me. I would add some non dot fabric. ... since you asked for opinions. But, as we always say, "It's your quilt. Anything you want is fine.

Not too bright at all. It is colorful, dotty, and full of circles, makes the eyes move, makes you wonder what is next. Perfect!

Well I don't think you can ever go wrong with polka dots -- such a cute block --I love it!

The brighter the better! I make lots of LOUD stuff. Ha ha. I have trouble doing "muted"

It's summer so you need bright! I love it. Polka dots are so fun!
