I don't usually name my baby quilts. If I named this one though it would be Make Life a Charm... This was the quickest baby quilt I have ever made. Started last week it is now done.... I put the last stitches in the binding this afternoon while watching "Coraline" a crazy "Alice" type movie. It's animated, but not necessarily for the younger set. Then I washed it and while it was in the dryer I took a nap. I didn't sleep well last night..
So here it is in all it's crinkly goodness...
fabric is Make Life by Sweetwater and Michael Miller Kona Snow

Now we just have to wait for the baby...
Yesterday my Downy Quilt for Kids kit came in the mail so I will be working on that.

I just love your simple quilt where the fabric gets to shine! One lucky baby!
Just a pretty baby quilt...
I love the quilt. I prefer simple quilts over complicated ones anyday.
That is so pretty!
What a cute baby quilt~perfect for either girl or boy!
This quilt is GREAT! I can't believe it - I just received a charm pack and jelly roll of Make Life and was thinking of using it for a baby quilt! Really great minds do think alike!!LOL!
Is this from a pattern or did you create this yourself? I would love to copy it :)

Nancy, love your quilt and the way you quilted it. Don't you just love it when it comes out of the dryer all soft.
I love the baby quilt. What pattern did you use? That looks like a great quickie that I would love to have. Love your blog. Blessings, Karen
I wish I could make a quilt that fast, I love it and the quilting looks wonderful with the straight lines.
You don't have to WAIT for the baby - I know a baby's grandma that LOVES that quilt - and has a baby boy that would LOVE that quilt!!!
Of course if you HAVE to give it to ANOTHER baby that's ok :( How about I commission a quilt - you know I'm good for it ;)

Boy that was quick. I love it. I love the quilting. I am trying some straight line quilting at the moment. Hope to finish it over the weekend so I can show you.
Great job on the quilt Nancy. What do you use for a batting that makes it all crinkly after washing? I think that I would like to make one for my first grand child that is due in September.
Adorable baby quilt Nancy! Love the quilting too.
Love the title and the quilt, beautiful.
