The Rock Star came home after school and ASKED if I would call and make him a hair appointment. Which I did just as soon as I got up off the floor. Thursday 4pm. I wrote it on the calendar and then promptly forgot about it. At 3pm yesterday he walked in, grabbed a snack and said "Hey, did you go in and pay for my haircut today?"
um....no...
"But" I said, "It's hardly worth paying for since they actually cut about a inth of an inch".
"wellllll....I'm thinkin of gettin it cut really short"
"yea, you don't have the BALLS to do that!!" I yelled...LOL and then I handed him my debit card...

Seems he was thinking really hard and my words put him over the edge...
Next time I will yell
"Yea, YOU DON'T HAVE THE BALLS TO GET A JOB"...............

The rock star (before his haircut) looks JUST like my DS! I'll have to find a pic and email it to you! Now I know what he'd look like with really short hair! I had to laugh - that's exactly what I would've said to my DS too!

Doesn't he look handsome?! We were so happy when our son decided to have his long hair cut off just like your sons. And he got so many compliments that he has decided to keep it that way! Now he wants it cut when it has barely grown one fourth of an inch.

He actually looks older, you can tell him I said that. That too will encourage him to keep it short. Good chuckle this morning. thanks. My boys always threatened me with letting their hair grow...I told them as long as it's clean I don't care...kind of put a damper on that way of rebellion. Same with earpiercing. I mentioned one of their friends who would look so good with a pierced ear. THey were shocked and asked if they would look good too; after 'studying' their features I said not really, you just don't have the right features for it, but so and so does! Well, so and so ended up getting a earring after I mentioned this to him. His mother was not too happy with me! LOL
