Redwork....and Spring Swap....

I did it!! I got off my butt and put both borders on my baskets. I need to show Chris tomorrow. Her shop Patches is where the redwork club meets and she and her staff helped me pick out the border fabric. I think it is perfect. I bought a red/white floral for the backing and as soon as I can find some warm and white I will quilt it myself....

And what is this pretty package? My contribution to the Spring Swap hosted by the lovely Linda. It will be mailed tomorrow to someone??? somewhere?? Could it be YOU??? Don't be fooled by the size. I am a good folder and packer and there is LOTS in there...LOL After it has been received I will share a photo of the items I sent or a link to the blog if photos are posted there...

Happy Sewing,
Nancy

Oh I love that redwork, and the fabric with just a touch of blue sets it off. When you decide to put that in a give away, enter my name like a million times!
Will you hand quilt it or machine?
Enjoy your thursday!

I love this pattern done is redwork. You did a beautiful job. I'm anxious to see how you quilt it. Please post a pictue when you do. I think I told you I did this in various colors and the top is put together but I've put off quilting it because I just don't know what to do. Thanks for sharing this beautiful quilt.

My sister loves to do redwork also. Some of her embroidery is on our blog. I like what you embroidered. Very nice. Linda
